The Fox/Rogers Project is an independent musical entity comprised of myself (Bernie Rogers) and my longtime friend and mentor James Fox.  Together we have created two albums - Escape Velocity, released in 2001 and Steady Westerly, released in 2003.  We have also produced and recorded a series of albums for several artists, including Terry Stepka, Vale Hayes and John Weidensall.

James Fox is a very talented individual possessing over 30 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry. 

James was born in a small town in northern Illinois and was interested in music from a very young age.  James was fascinated with all of the Big Band music that his parents used to listen to such as Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and others of the time.  He was especially interested  and intrigued by the drummers of these bands.  By the age of 13 James was proficent on the drums and by the age of 14 was playing professionally and touring with local bands, playing songs by Chicago, Blood Sweat And Tears and the Ides Of March and some Funk bands while also learning to play bass, guitars percussion, keyboards and horns.  Another big influence on Jim was rock music such as local band The Nomads and national artists The Astronauts which were one of the first 3 guitar rock bands and on to more Progressive Rock and Fusion.   During these formative years,  James also became interested in the audio fields of engineering and producing.
